Fresh papaya is a perfect tropical fruit to add to your baby’s diet. Papaya’s are deliciously sweet, versatile, and rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

Papaya Collage-2For older babies, papaya also makes a good finger food. However, for puree, I like to steam my papaya first (in my Beaba Babycook Pro), just to soften the fruit up a bit. Steaming the papaya first also makes digestion easier for baby. What I love about the Beaba Babycook Pro is that I can steam and puree all in the same unit. It is so easy to do!
